Mike's Biography
Well where to start! I was born in Ironwood, Michigan. Its in the Upper Peninsula. I went to grade school there until like the 3rd grade. I'll tell you now, I've been so many places in my childhood that I really dont know where I was at an 'age', rather I know where I was by 'grade'. So up until the 3rd grade, I was going to school in Wakefeild, MI. Then I moved to Las Vegas, NV where I continued school til the 5th or 6th grade, not exactly sure which. Then for the 6th, 7th and 8th grades I was all over Idaho, from St. Maries to Avery to Deary. I think I lived in Kellogg at one point too. I made acquaintences wherever I went, but never had the chance to make a real friend.
Then for my high school career, I started in St. Maries, ID. But after two weeks of that I moved back to Michigan. There I made all of two friends, Doug and Anna. Because of my childhood, and still somewhat today, I am really shy. It wasn't until my senior year that I got into anything 'fun' at school. I took choir for my senior year. I thought it was fun. :)
But anyway.. There wasn't too much to my childhood worth talking about... NOW!! On to more recent times! Lets start at the summer of '97.. Thats when I first came out about being gay. I remember I was talking to someone online from Upper MI, and I went to see this person, who lived in Bowling Green, OH. I got there and immediately I loved the gay life! I called my mom a week later and told her I was staying here because I am gay. She took it really well. So I worked at a Big Boy for a little while. One thing I can definately thank Bowling Green for is the introduction to drama. Belive me, I'll never forget it. About two months in Bowling Green and I thought I was in hell. So I moved to Cleveland... More specifically, Parma with my friend named Jamie. I lived with him for 3 months, got a job working where he did. Turned out the job was way over my head, so I quit.
About Thanksgiving is when I quit that job, and is also when I met my best friend De'Angelo. I have two best friends. The other is Sam, I met him thru another friend named David at the Cage one night. The Cage is my hang out :p But I met Sam sometime in January. Here is a picture of Sam, De'Angelo and I (in that order) at the Interbelt Night Club in Akron, OH taken last saturday, 2-20-99. The pic is a bit blurry, but there's nothing I can do about it right now...
But now I'm living in Cleveland still, not too far from the Cage Night Club. Where, chances are, if you go out, you'll see me there :p
